The Design Process

The initial consultation allows us to understand the clients' preferences and requirements which are then summarised in a brief.

Initial Consultation

The consultation is an important element in the garden design process. Our primary objective is to gain a thorough understanding of our clients' preferences and requirements, which are summarised in a comprehensive client brief. There is a fee for the consultation which typically lasts between 60-90 minutes. It is important to note that the consultation fee is refunded if the client proceeds with the design process. Our team works collaboratively with our clients to explore creative options and ideas, taking into account all relevant factors, such as privacy, existing structures and plants, soil type, terrain, functionality and overall aesthetics.

A conceptual design outlines the garden structure and has images of plants and design elements to help the client visualise the landscape concept

Conceptual Plan

We provide a professional service for drafting conceptual plans at a specified fee. Our team conducts a thorough measurement of the landscaping area, taking levels and photos to ensure precise plans can be acquired. Based on the client's brief, we create a scaled, comprehensive conceptual plan that outlines the garden structure, including images of plants, colour palettes and design elements to help our clients visualise the concept. Upon approval of the conceptual plan, we can proceed to create a detailed master plan.

A master plan contains all the necessary details for permits, implementation and pricing of a garden design and ensures its integrity.

Master Plan

A detailed master plan can be created based on the conceptual plan. This plan includes construction details such as materials and colours, information on the implementation process, and specifications for the plant species to be used in the garden. Typically, these plans are used by landscapers, pool builders and developers to obtain construction quotes, building and planning permits.
